I went over to a dear friends (Maureen Pollock -Independent Demonstrator for SU!)house yesterday to make a card I noticed the night before at her card class. I plan on using the card today so it was really appreciated that she took the time to help me do this. The funny thing is I was so rusty this took me two whole hours and I cut corners!
Mine is the top:
Shout out to my beautiful hand model Heather Neidig (another AMAZING retired SU! demo)
Unfortunately I cant name what I used because it's been so long since I made a card (3 yrs this Oct) But I can share the dimensions: 4"x12" scored at 2" 4" 8" and 10" then cut between the 2nd" and 10th" and fun fold.

I got some MOJO!
Well it's been a long time in the making but I am officially in search of my missing mojo. It's been gone for nearly three years and my stuff has dust and I need a hobby (says my mother). I enrolled in a wedding card class put on by Maureen Pollock (SU! demo)and went with bells on. It was so overwhelming, I have forgotten all my skills and needed to be watched closly;o) Koodos to her
Here are the cards we made:

Black Aces Cupcakes
My cousin Lisa asked me to make cupcakes for her sons hockey team the Black Aces. I made four dozen cupcakes in four flavours. I had The Digi Butterfly create custom wrappers and buffet cards to match the Black Aces logo/colours:o)
Wouldn't you know my camera is broken right now and mailed back to the manufacture for repair, I had to use my video camera to take stills-didn't turn out to well.
Anyway those are the displays with most the cupcakes on the tree.

My delicious (if I say so myself) three flavours.
Okay this picture was taken later in the evening with my mother's old school 5mp camera. It's of "the leftovers" I made for my family. That's why wrappers are missing and the tree is empty-ish.
This picture is the most disappointing. These cupcakes were the cupcakes for Dean's teammates. I made inny-weeny black fondant pucks with their numbers piped on:o( It's hard to tell how awesome they turned out.

Little Miss Birthday
So this past weekend was Little Miss Alyx's Birthday Party (Alyx and my birthday's also) so we had a huge celebration.
The plan was to be in the park again like last year's rainbow party but the weather was not working with us, so we changed in the 11th hr to an indoor play facility which eliminated 3/4 of my coolness I planned on sharing with you.
Here's some snap shots of what I got:
The Fabulous cupcakes my SIL Dionne helped me make. She added the beautiful flowers on the tops (made from white chocolate/marshmallows/sprinkles) and bless her, she had to make three batches to accommodate my craziness;o)

I'm Tangled
Last night was a great evening with old friends we haven't seen in quiet some time. We were invited over for dinner and the hostess Robyn, showed me some of her paintings. There were so many GORGUSS ones but being the mother of two little girls these pictures stole my heart. So can you believe she gave these to me? I never imagined leaving with treats but I hit the lottery!
Here's a picture of the set:

No really what do they eat?
Well they're pretty angry at the pigs so I'd guess PORK!
Our menu consisted of Devilled Eggs, Ham and Egg buns, Pigs Ears with Slop (Chips and salsa) and if you look in the back of the picture you can see the slow cooker TROUGH, we had BBQ Pork Ribs, Pork & Beans, Piglets (Honey Garlic Pork chucks)
In the back of this next picture you can see the base of the trio stacker that held Squealers (Jalapeno Poppers), Pigs in a Blanket, and Pig Tails (Curly Fries)
It was DELICIOUS!

Angry Bird Birthday for Jaidyn
We threw Jaidyn an Angry Bird birthday at the beginning of the month. Everything was fabulous and the theme was so much fun. BIG thank you to Shiva our photographer. You really captured magic.
